Dinner was amazing. Next time I will use more parmigan. I also used a honey dijon mustard instead of straight up dijon. This meal even recieved my husband’s high compliment, “you can make this again” and I will 😀
Here’s this week’s line up (I’m reusing some recipes from lady week, dove I didn’t get to cook them all.)
Friday: Baked Honey Mustard Chicken with Crispy Parmesan Potatoes
Saturday: SunChips® Sweet & Spicy BBQ Chicken Wantons. I’ll be using leftover homemade rotisserie chicken from our Thanksgiving meal (yes, we make chicken.)
Sunday: Sunday dinner at Rita’s (MIL) Or a frozen pizza…
Monday: Frozen potstickers and rice
Thursday: Order out at my Dad’s house
Friday: that’s just too far away
I’ll also be making chicken salad for my husband’s lunches with some of the rotisserie chicken from Thanksgiving.
Chocolate chip scones
This is a really interesting read! I think parents often forget, there is a lot more going on in any child’s life than we will ever see. Everyone is so quick to judge these days. You have no idea what could be going on with another person, live your life, raise you kids.
Operate in a judgement free zone and teach your kids the same.
This is seriously the best most easy recipe for rice pudding ever! It only takes 2.5 hours on high in the Crock Pot!
I made a double batch and used an extra tsp of vanilla, I am a big believer of vanilla!
I find that is doesn’t photograph well but holy crap is delicious! Next time I’m going to cut slightly back on the sugar (much to my husband’s disappointment. )
It’s been a few crazy weeks, with my husband working a lot and my having no motivation to cook. So, we are back on track now and here is this week’s meal line up…
Saturday: Spaghetti, using my favorite Veggie Pasta and this recipe for simple spaghetti sauce. I’ll freeze the excess sauce. With garlic bread and steamed green beans.
Sunday: Rita’s (mother in law)
Monday: *still need to figure it out *I’ll be at work
Tuesday: Baked Honey Mustard Chicken, with Crispy Parmesan Potatoes and something green.
Wednesday: Sweet & Spicy BBQ Chicken Wantons Recipe and salad.
Thursday: Take the kids to my dad’s.
This week’s special cooking adventures include…
My second attempt at rice pudding. This time in the Crock Pot. Too bad I already realized I forgot to spray the crockpot before putting in the ingredients!! Let’s hope the butter in the recipe helps…
Chocolate Chip Scones
And deviled eggs (because I’m craving them, don’t judge.)
I am very excited, I’ll be having the pleasure of shopping at the Wegmans in Montgomeryville, kid free with just my husband! Their fruit selection is always shit (who ever accepts the shipment should be fired) but everything else is stellar.
Simply fill out the form and wait for your free sample in the mail!
Sorry, I have been quiet for a little while. I was going through some stuff with my best friend. I basically had to cut her off for various reasons. Even though she really wronged me, it still felt like a significant loss, a break up.
A few weeks have passed and the absence is less painful and surprisingly not as big a loss as I initially thought. I will slowly be getting back to my blog and posting as often as I can.
A lot of big things are happening for me and I’m very excited to say, I’m starting an Etsy shop to sell my handmade boutique bows. This is a really big deal for me, it’s something I’m good at and really enjoy. Stay tuned!!
